Brands I Love - Summer Fridays

Updated: Dec 7, 2019

This insta famous brand surely lives up to the hype.

As is the case with most of my recent skincare finds, I discovered Summer Fridays via good ol’ instagram. I actually have been following the brand’s co founder Marianna Hewitt for years and consider her a credible source as an influencer, so when I saw her post a teaser that she would be spearheading her own line, I was all ears!

The first product to launch was the Jetlag Mask, which has now achieved cult status on the ‘gram. After reading all the reviews possible and watching all of the YouTube videos, I finally bit the bullet and got it. NO REGRETS! This is the most hydrating mask you will ever use! You can either use it as a moisturizing mask, i.e. apply a thin layer, leave on for about 10-15 mins and then wipe off with a warm towel OR apply a thin layer and let it sink in as your moisturizer. Sometimes when I’m not using it all over my face, I even use it as an eye cream. When I use it as an overnight mask, my skin is super glowy the next day. I had a long flight to London a few months ago and used this in flight because we all know airplane air dries out your skin and this was pure magic! 10/10 will recommend. I’m now on my 2nd tube and they recently came out with a travel sized version which I will be taking with me on my next trip for sure.

The next product in their lineup is the Overtime Mask, which I use for exfoliation. Formulated with pumpkin and apricot seeds, it’s a mild exfoliant that leaves your skin luminous. And it smells like pumpkin spice, which is a plus in my book.

The final product is the R + R mask which is also exfoliating but formulated with rose powder and rose oils to moisturize and soothe after you wash off. I personally haven’t bought this one (YET) as I’m quite content with the Overtime Mask but I’ve heard positive reviews.

Overall, thus far, Summer Fridays has piqued my interest and I can’t wait to see what they come out with next. Their most recent item - the CC Me Serum already has rave reviews and I'm going to add it to my current wishlist as I'm a sucker for Vitamin C products.

You can purchase Summer Fridays masks via the Summer Fridays Website or on Sephora. They range from $44 USD to $52 USD.
